August 17, 2019 - Ripe, but reasonably classic profile. Blackcurrant, leather, some eucalyptus-scented tobacco. A touch of slightly medicinal bilberry hints at it's Aussie origins. Fine grained tannins with ample acidity, this is an excellent midweek quaffer, but it would seem time is needed for these to calm down. Decanted for an hour.

November 18, 2016 - Over oaked/Engineered wine. Lots of cassis and a bit of mint. I'm not convinced this wine will age any bette. Drink in the next two to three years, decent enough mid week wine.

October 26, 2016 - Cedary French oak, ethanol and berries on the nose after initial stink blows off - takes a few hours. Licorice, plenty of tobacco, dark fruits; blackberries, plums, blackcurrant. Herbs, pepper. Grippy tannins. Alcohol heat and too much acid on the finish make it unbalanced.
