October 9, 2022 - Last bottle from this vintage and even better than the last one. A truly outstanding County pinot. This has a lot of life left in it.
July 16, 2021 - Pas beaucoup d'évolution depuis la dernière fois mais encore et toujours excellent.
June 2, 2018 - Acheté chez le producteur et en cellier depuis 3 ans. Carafé une demie heure et légèrement rafraichi. Quel beau produit de Prince Edward County CANADA. Influence bourguignone. Tout est là. Fraicheur (petits fruits rouges), texture enveloppante. En bouche, l'attaque est bien présente et ça explose. Par la suite, on a l'impression que ça se calme plutôt rapidement...une petite déception. 15-30 secondes plus tard, alors que l'impression générale est que c'est "court", le divin nectar fait un retour en douce...On en redemande, délice. Selon moi, ce vin a encore quelques belles années devant lui...tellement content qu'il me reste une bouteille!
December 14, 2017 - Wow, how this has evolved over the last couple of years. Beautiful depth and complexity -- several thought this was a grand cru Burgundy in a blind tasting. Drinking beautifully now. Drink over the next 2-3 years.
October 1, 2017 - This is amongst the finest pinots in the County and tasting blind I would have gone to Burgundy, not off the beaten track near Milford. Darker than most County pinots. Some cedar and spice on the nose. Intricate tannins, strawberry, peppery, and hint of mushroom. Long and wonderful finish. This has a lot of life (at least 5 more years) and may very well not have peaked yet. Outstanding wine.
December 28, 2016 - Bon mais m'a semblé plus simple que la fois précédente. Un beau nez "qui pinote" mais pour le reste ne laisse pas de souvenirs particuliers.
July 24, 2016 - Complex, somewhat Burgundian in character. Soft and medium bodied. Drink over the next 5 years.
January 1, 2016 - Excellent pinot avec une belle texture. Pas sucré ni trop acide. C'est très délicat. Digne des meilleurs pinot du Canada!
