October 2, 2023 - Nice WV pinot, very well put together, nice cherry fruit with some soil and leafy tones adding interest. Not showing much in the way of age, so no hurry it still has plenty of life ahead.

July 30, 2023 - Ripe strawberry in the nose and in the mouth, some slight bits of tertiary (leatheriness?), tannings are soft, decent little pop of acidity on the finish. Another year... pure prettiness.

October 16, 2022 - Post Joachim Concerto and audition day dinner (Trelissick Crescent, Ngaio, Wellington, New Zealand): On opening, the nose felt very Burgundian (especially next to the 2014 Carrick Excelsior), but air in the glass, very sweet and creamy oak notes developed, along with the undergrowth and black cherry notes. Likewise in the mouth, this opened with a lot of structure, and soon developed into a round, ripe, but still direct and structured palate profile. Classy wine.

October 8, 2022 - This was a gem. Pinot shouldn't be this good at this price point. Expressive, light on the palate, very much a Dundee profile with the dusty tannins and red fruit hints. Best glasses were the first glasses, all about the aromatics. Ready now but should hold for another little while. Score bumped up a bit for QPR.
