March 15, 2021 - This was a pleasant surprise. I purchased this at a wine maker dinner in Greenwich CT. Wax top. This was clearish (nice color). Cherry nose and taste. Some tannins. We polished this off in 30 minutes. I'll save my last bottle for 2023. There was a little improvement the next day.

March 13, 2020 - Wow found this on the clearance aisle at local store for $20. Great QPR obviously and dleivered with a bit of "funk" upon open but 20 minutes in glass and revealed mostly tertiary noted with mushroom bit of light cedar and some dark cherry notes. Very nice for price and think I'll go get the rest available.

June 1, 2018 - Surprisingly lean, but filled out slightly with air. Some savory elements jump out on the nose with swirling. Agree with cranberry and sandalwood, with some mushroom. Could have easily passed for Oregon IMO

May 26, 2018 - First winery on day two in Sonoma was Donelan Family Wines in Santa Rosa with Meredith. First red up was the Two Brothers Pinot Noir which comes from four separate vineyards in Sonoma County; 41% from Steiner Ranch, 26% from Walker Vine Hill, 21% from Devoto and 12% from Perli. Aged for 18 months in 17% new French oak. 1,630 cases produced.

Medium garnet red with some ruby in the core. A touch of greenery on the nose with some twigs and strawberries. A touch of tobacco and cedar too. Medium acidity (6.5/10) with a light plus to medium body. Layered palate with notes of cinnamon, violet, white pepper, plums and a touch of mushrooms. Medium plus finish with a little bit of iron coming through. Drink till 2021.
