February 2, 2021 - Rust red with slight tendency toward bricking. This bottle tasted just a touch oxidized. Fruit and flowers still coming through in taste and aroma, and little more tannins than I expected. Finish is short.

December 5, 2017 - Hedonistic nose of dark fruit and spice. Black cherry, raspberry, plum and charcoal/smoke on the spicy finish. Amazing w seared duck breast and spinach ravioli!

March 28, 2017 - This has changed a lot over the past year. Plum and cherry aromas lead to confectioned black cherry flavors. While tasty, this wine will not make old bones - there's not enough acid to support the fruit.
