March 5, 2023 - From mag. Dark yellow, golden. Ripe, citrus, slightly fat but grows on you. More smoke on nose with time. Some quince on palate.

April 13, 2022 - A long time favourite wine of mine and about as good an example of Viré- Clessé as you will find. It also ages very well as shown by this 2009 from the Magnum. The wine is quite full and rich even when young but not over the top at 13 years old at all. Bold yet balanced. Much enjoyed by the boys for Masters final round on Sunday night before the big reds came out..

January 18, 2021 - Very special. Drank from magnum and paired with lobster and French mayo, which seems to be the ideal combination. The lack of acidity didn't bother us too much. Very complex wine

October 25, 2020 - Bought this recently in magnum to get an idea of how the wine ages, since I have 2014, 15 and 16. It was very pleasant and consistent with others' notes on the wine. The lack of acidity did detract a little from the overall impact, so I don't think I'd keep this any longer. It didn't feel like the wine had increased significantly in complexity from the young wine I've tasted but I obviously can't factor in vintage differences to that analysis. It suggests the wines are enjoyable from release and for at least a decade after the vintage.

October 8, 2020 - 2007 Burgundy, round 2 (Noize): Loved the vibrant yellow colour on this. As expected, a big wine, with a viscous mouthfeel; there were hints of residual sugar, and it verged on a white Rhone in style, but (like many successful whites from that region!) ultimately things finished in a cool and stony fashion.
