January 30, 2016 - The nose was intense with ripe stone fruits offset by fresh citrus, minerals and floral tones. On the palate, silky textures were contrasted by brisk acidity with mineral cut giving way to ripe melon and apple, in an electric display of Sancerre. It finished fresh but with lingering fruit ripeness, as apple notes turned darker & sweeter with lemon and lime sensations slowly fading. In the context of the vintage, this wine finds a perfect balance between ripeness and vibrancy.
