August 12, 2020 - Canary melon, pears, brioche. Ok, fine, some green apple. Bring to most milieus and you won't embarrass yourself. Sort of in a netherworld between moscato d'Asti (Fun!) & champagne

October 17, 2017 - Always a fav. Had many of these over the last few years. Just superb QPR. Similar to Hellowine's notes below. Very good nose of white fruits and some leesy notes. Good mousse, but tamed down after opening. Tart and acidic, light body, nice lemon curd, lime, light bread, and apple. Great aperitif or good with charcuterie and cheese.

May 31, 2014 - Bought this after drinking it at Le Pichet in Seattle. We bought it locally in DC and it's still wonderfully fresh, green apple nose, light straw color. Not too heavy in bubbles after opening (more like frizzante vs spumante). Tart and acidic, but a nice quaffer. Not a heavy wine but pleasant to sip without food. Had it at Le Pichet with cheese and charcuterie course with rustic pate de campagne and kukulu cheese.

February 20, 2012 - Not overly complex but for a light and refreshing sparkler, this was a great fit and a great value. I really enjoyed the tartness of the lemon with hints of green apple, and the yeasty bread flavor profile.

September 20, 2011 - Very light and refreshing. Easy drinking. Crisp but soft. The bubbles hit the palate quick with a rather distinct flavor profile, mostly lemon, but accented with some earthy yeast and mildly spicy apple. Then as the wine warms in the mouth there is nice dose of palate cleansing Granny Smith apple acid. Very clean on the finish.

August 5, 2011 - Initially, ice cold, I was impressed with the price. The carbonation seemed a little aggressive, to the point of being palate subduing, but it breathed a little. I loved the tart, dry texture and the mild yeasty complexity. After it warmed a little, it seemed a little farmyard-like. Great price.
