Intense, piercing acidity, but a round, rich, savory palate—an unexpected juxtaposition. The acidity and green fruit cut their way through the palate in an intense edge-of-pain-and-joy sort of way, with a. Long finish of slightly less punishing fruit and a bit of savory notes offer relief. I’m wishing for a drop of more ripe fruit not to balance the wine exactly but to offer the palate a bit of false hope. Interesting wine.
October 22, 2023 - Même si le vin est encore délicieux, j'ai un peu moins apprécié qu'en 2021. Temps de boire les bouteilles qui me reste de ce millésime? La complexité est au rendez-vous et la structure est encore bonne mais j'ai trouvé le fruit un peu moins intéressant.
July 25, 2023 - Encore jeune mais bien approchable. Attaque fruitée, fraiche et assez tendue, belle finale crayeuse. Très bien.

Grapefruit citrus notes, with florality and white pepper. Stings a bit, in a good way, with perfectly balanced acidity to usher in a dollop of citrus-laden honey in the refreshing finish.
I have no experience with aging fine Sancerre much longer than 10 yrs, but this seems beautifully mature to me. Drink through 2025+.
