March 2, 2020 - Pulled from the cellar without looking at inventory. Last bottle. Darn it! I have to be more careful. Yikes! Asin 2016- wonderful Sancerre with great typicity. Wish I had shown more restraint. Light straw. Chalk, honey and pyrazines. Great acidity. Lovely stuff

September 20, 2019 - Drank this alongside the '14 Mont Damnés - a really interesting contrast, as this seemed much riper in comparison with bold fruit veering towards the tropical, more of that Sauvignon grassiness, but without the mineral depth and brightness of the Mont Damnés. Still very pretty, but this felt a bit warm/ripe in contrast and I enjoyed it less.

September 20, 2019 - HDH auction at Spiaggia; 9/19/2019-9/21/2019 (Chicago, IL): A little bit of pineapple and reduction on the nose, as well as a bit of the green notes. Good minerality and freshness, and for sauvignon blanc, this is definitely fairly nicely structured with good body. The acidity is pretty high here, but it gives this a nice freshness. This has a little more opulence fruit-wise than the Monts Damnés.

August 18, 2019 - Still taut with good acidity and nice persistence on the palate. Some moderate grassiness on the nose, with another note akin to a melon as well. Not bad, but also to my mind, not the best vintage for this wine.

May 21, 2019 - Superbe sancerre. Je recommande un léger passage en carafe. Il est encore jeune. Un peu fermé à l'ouverture il s'ouvre en démontrant beaucoup plus d'ampleur et de complexité.
