March 27, 2024 - Citrus, traditional sauv-blanc gooseberry, some green stone fruit, lime peel. Intense steely, mineral/saline palate. Medium bodied. High acidity. Very long finish. This is starting to develop some very pretty savory notes to go with the fruit and verve. Quite enjoyable now with some air. Drink now (but give it a few hours of air) or wait--no hurry at all, though I can't speak to long-term projections.

March 22, 2024 - Gooseberries, elder, hay, lemon and saline notes. Good acidity, high dry extract, nice length, drinking well.

March 17, 2024 - Nice, but quiet, steely nose with lemon, some raw ginger, and wet rocks. Great palate impact, uber dry but layered and dense with mineral and lemon intensities, and if anything, the bright intensity goes higher on the finish. Austere and lacking much nuance, but thrilling for all its rocky, dry, citric energy. Holding well, but ready.

November 14, 2023 - Gooseberries, hay, salinity. Straight Sancerre of one of the best terroirs, good density and length.

    December 9, 2022 - 2nd bottle from a 4 pack, last consumed 2.5 yrs ago.
Drinking beautifully, with grassy and herbal notes, a drizzle of honeyed richness, and a firm acidic spine on the long and grassy finish.
    Drink through 2028 or so.
