December 9, 2023 - Light chill, opened and tasted then had with and after dinner, sauteed scallops. Best with some air. Lovely rich complex of yellow stone fruit, citrus, lemon/lime maybe tangerine, layered with light herbal & mineral notes. Great textured palate, fine mouthfeel, as in rich and balanced with length to let the varied flavors float ending with clean finish. A bit left for day 2, though it had lost the depth of prior day. Given profile of notes to date, and this bottle, has life left but improvement maybe not.

January 15, 2023 - la Gloire de la Loire...

hard to tell if this is at its peak, but it was just singing tonight, so many interesting citrus tones, ripe tropical and stone fruits too, deep leafy and vegetal nuance to accent its ripe fruit, drink one soon if you have it, but maybe save it and follow it, as the the balance is on point and I can't see it fading any time soon

December 15, 2022 - Oxidised significantly beyond previous bottle - cork showed some signs of failure.

September 1, 2022 - Lovely wine with great energy and complexity. Perfect with roast chicken with tarragon. In a good spot and should hold here but not sure I’d wait a decade on these.

July 9, 2022 - Some complexity but a bit flat. May be aging out.

May 2, 2022 - Wonderfully layered, complex and with scintillating acid that will keep it humming for some time. Delicious with time to breathe and warm a few degrees.

April 30, 2022 - This was really good. In the more traditional range for Sancerre but had tons of depth and lemon and acidity. Was Amazing

September 10, 2021 - So fine and complex with a silky texture and classic mineral-drive finish. Beautifully long and complex and really elegant. Best Sancerre I've ever had.

September 16, 2020 - Like the ‘10 Mont Damnes, my last bottle of this as well.

This is more energetic on the palate - really tough to pick between as they are showing differently, but I might have a slight preference for this wine tonight. One could do worse on a Wednesday night.
