October 27, 2023 - Drinks very well with an hour or so of decanting, appears at its prime. A ripe and relatively dark style of Brunello, with noticeable heat at 14.5% alc. Lots of dark cherries, some licorice, ripe plum on the palate.

September 17, 2023 - Opened ~4 hrs before dinner, not decanted. Nice nose but w “hot” sausages on pasta, flavors were a little muted. My wife thought not was great but it didn’t seem to have the body to hold up to spice for me.
After dinner the flavors of black fruit, plum & blackberry, came through much more pleasantly.
