July 6, 2018 - A bit too much ripe, dark fruit and alcohol for my taste. Other's mileage may vary.

March 10, 2018 - Wow this is drinking great right now. Deep fruit with that extra something Cris wires into the Avenger. Looking forward to next two bottles.

August 9, 2017 - This is running really hot right now - give it 30-60 minutes for the alcohol heat to blow off a bit. Once it settles is it a big, pleasant, ripe Paso Rhone blend.

August 13, 2016 - Medium bodied and California fruity, this GSM Blend is powerfully aromatic with predominant aromas of dark cherry and blackberry. It's also quite flavorful with a predominant mid-palate of blackberry, black currant, cranberry and a little black pepper. The wine's freshly acidic with medium, round tannins and a medium to long finish. It was an absolutely perfect pairing with our Peruvian lomo saltado dish--a sort of a beef tenderloin and tomato stir-fry seasoned with Peruvian pepper spices.

July 2, 2016 - Not too rich, tobacco on the nose, a little hot, should age nicely

April 19, 2016 - Hdr Closing Tasting: This is a big tannic but fruity wine. Lots of black raspberries, blueberries and also smoke. Palate matches. Licorice on the finish. Tannic.

February 5, 2016 - First time with this label, very nice. Rich Blackberry and boysenberry notes with tar, licorice, and earth througbout. Firm tannins, long finish.
