December 2, 2018 - Drank with spicy beef stew. Just enough sweet fruit to take the edge off the heat. Well made.

Initially nose a bit closed with faint mature Cab notes
Palate is surprisingly sweet and rich with a prickly acidity on tongue. Salty and dry tanic finish.
Not bad, but I'm not in love. Good value purchase now at only 15euro for such and old vintage.
On day two and three I am warming a bit to it. It has a really pleasant and elegantly evolved nose. Palate is fairly rich, but quite dry and dusty, reminds me of 15-20 year old Bordeaux which I'm not a big fan of. -

January 23, 2014 - Tasted much better at the end of day 2. Lost its heat and displayed some fruit. Notes of cherry, not offensive but not complex. Drink now.
