February 8, 2023 - Pretty smooth and silky, but the flavors do not have the intensity and focus.

December 17, 2022 - wonderful blend of CabSauv, Merlot and CabFranc made with the cure of Angelo Gaja. Complex, seductive, fashinating and in the best drinking widonw with an array of scents ranging from underbrush and gentle leather with a balanced touch of wood and a wonderful hint of mint and spices. After a cold bike ride to Casatenovo and Monticello with rhe shadow of LK ahead

July 11, 2022 - Very good showing, medium-bodied, had a significant licorice aspect which I love in some Tuscan wines - reminded me of Casanova di Neri Brunellos.

June 4, 2022 - See mote from 2020. More balanced and integrated. Long, juicy finish.

January 16, 2022 - Showing beautifully right now. Definitely recommend. Popped and poured and if possible would recommend at least a short decant. True Bdx blend of 50% merlot, 40% cabernet sauvignon and 10% cabernet franc with no native Italian varietals. Drink or hold - probably no further upside to holding but should hold well for an additional at least 3-5 years under proper cellaring conditions with no degradation. Soft and smooth, medium-full bodied, medium length aftertaste, very well integrated, no oak detectable, soft tannins well contolled acidity. Nose of dark stone fruit, dark cherry and a floral note. Up front flavors of cassis, plum and anise with earthier notes of black tea, cigar box and smoke on the finish.
