March 26, 2023 - sipped using Coravin, blend of 15 different grapes, some of them dried before to be pressed (the same as for Amarone)
dark ruby intense colour with some garnet nuances. Lovely intense nose with dried plums, cherry, ripe blackberry, cassis, raspberry, wet leather a little bit of herb and tobacco. On the palate is rather bodied but also very fresh and balanced. Fruits are rather concentrated, mainly cherry and plum again, spicy with some herbs and tobacco still. Very long finish. August 2, 2022 - On its way out, but what a pleasure.
Opens up ruby on they eye and, a bit, on the nose, suggesting that the best times are over
Calms down nicely in the next hour, bringing a mellowing palate of dark fruit. This had been in the bottle for twelve years and is happy to be released. Depth reduces over time, but a great finish to this wine.

November 14, 2020 - Nous avions quelques événements à célébrer, en accord avec un bon risotto et Wagyu. Sur le nez, nous avons des fruits rouges/noirs en compote, des épices italiennes, une touche végétale. On sent l'effet de la barrique, sans être dérangeant. En bouche, une bombe de substance, les tannins sont fondus, une bonne acidité qui permettra une bonne garde. Encore une fois facile à boire et un vin qui plaira au grand public.

January 1, 2019 - Nice wine, well in its drinking window now. A bit less alcohol would allow the fruit to come forward more easily, but enjoyable as it is now.
