December 18, 2022 - 1.5 hour decant for alcohol and fruit to blow off. Migrated to classic earthy red mountain cab. Took awhile to come around.

September 14, 2019 - Pretty raw. Needs a few more years. More are better.

August 18, 2018 - Blackberry, small berry - tasted at Poco in Capital Hill - will be amazing in a few more years - still tastes right in 2018.

June 25, 2018 - Last bottle of this $20 Red Mountain bargain. Soft and open: more fruit driven than the typical Red Mountain juice, but with enough structure to keep it all in place. Blueberry and loamy soil palate with a squirt of tart blackberry on the finish. Delicious. And I do not get the overt wood in the previous note - not in my bottles.

April 20, 2018 - Pecked at over the last two nights, one cannot drink much of this due to the heavy-handedness of wood. Though there is a menthol lift to the midpalate, its combination with the forest in your mouth does not sum up nicely. Did not improve on the 2nd night, lets see what the final portion brings. [2nd Full Pull club find in a row that was unworthy, yikes.]

February 21, 2018 - Mark's. Never heard of this winery. Excellent flavors and balance with silky tannins, sophisticated and spot-on for drinking now. Amazing QPR for $20ish wholesale.
