March 6, 2023 - Mature colour, nose still lively, fruit is beginning to fade but proportions are elegant tannins integrated. Some leathery notes initially but a couple of hours decanting resolved this and a more floral element came to the fore. Enjoyed with slow roasted lamb.

June 7, 2022 - Very similar to the 1983 but clearly at different point in its evolution. More dark fruit character, and a little sweeter. More body - particularly in the mid section, and some mild tannins. Good drive to it

July 4, 2020 - Colour still deep and good brightness, nose a bit leathery but good density of fruit on the palate. The acidity should keep this fresh for years to come although fruit is now starting to become a bit lighter. Enjoyed with a lovely slow roasted shoulder of lamb.
