December 3, 2023 - Not rating this. This was a winebid purchase and I'm starting to doubt the prior storage. Most of these have been light/elegant, but this was just gone. Little fruit, no meat.

August 9, 2023 - Bumped up a point from my last note (December 2022). There was an added mid-palate delicious earthy note and an added elegance to the wine since the last bottle.

July 22, 2023 - Fourth time tasting since 2018, some bottle variation. The last bottle, a month ago, showed typical smoke and roasted meat but this bottle did not. Still garnet but some translucency. Pronounced aromas but straightforward syrah, of black fruits and oak. Full-bodied but very smooth, round syrah flavors and an excellent aftertaste. Fully mature, drink over the next year or two.

July 5, 2023 - No. 2 syrah from a blind tasting of 9 syrahs (including No Girls, MTR, Cayuse, Betz, K Vintners and The Walls. A crowd favorite with most using the descriptor elegant. Drinking beautifully after a 3 hour decant.
