June 28, 2020 - It has lost a bit of its early appeal, but it's still a nice "hamburger wine"
clearly very light in structure with limited skin contact.
The fruit is gradually disappearing and there's little behind it. drink up!

October 22, 2019 - From 375. A light red; light in color, light in fruit. Good balance. A bit of funk. Not as good as the 2010 but still well-suited to sauteed salmon fillet.

September 30, 2019 - Medium ruby, light bodied - Gorgeous Loire nose of tobacco and red berries, a classic scent - smooth, medium light to medium body, bright red fruit w tobacco accents, very perfumed in the mouth - lovely! - I really like this!

April 15, 2018 - Very gentle wine with a delicate structure, fairly faint nose, and initially reserved flavors on the palate that grew a bit more assertive as it warmed from cellar temp (and got some air). Some savory roasted tomato and a bit of green tobacco informed the tangy fruit (cranberry-ish maybe). Squeaky clean. Got along great with a beef burger. Would have been disappointing to serve to a friend as an intended demonstration of "here's what Loire Cab Franc is like" - it's really pretty subtle.
