November 3, 2017 - The wine has gone downhill a little since I last tasted it, but it was still super
January 15, 2016 - Ready to drink. Great to drink while cooking and eating Italian food. Enjoyed the Napa fruit.
January 8, 2016 - I have several of these left and that makes me happy. This wine is as good as it was a year ago. My wife likes it so life is good. Its been in our cellar for five years and is as good now as when I first tasted it, maybe better!
December 11, 2015 - Little bit of fruit left but not much. Dried cherry and plum
February 14, 2015 - The 30% Malbec underneath the Cabernet made for a delight. Consistency and quality is what you can expect from Vincent Arroyo. Thrilled I have 4 more bottles.
January 6, 2015 - Nice body and fruit, found it more balanced and less oaky than expected.
April 26, 2014 - This was drinking very well this time. Nice garnet color in the glass with dark red fruit on the nose and palate. Very smooth ... tannins and acidity in balance. Enjoyable.
March 6, 2014 - The cork was in great shape and was stained deep purple. It had no weinstein. The color is dark purple with a very distinctive and long lasting nose. The taste is of dark fruit, lots of it. And the finish is very long. I finished my last taste 15 minutes ago and I can still taste the finish...fantastic.
July 23, 2013 - Took about 3 hours to fully open, but is a nice field blend of reds with some black and red fruits. Modest Oak. Smooth but tannins with backbone. Finish is on the short side. This wine still has another 3 - 5 years left on it and it might get a little better over that span.
March 9, 2013 - Yeah I like it, but it's almost more out of respect for Vincent than the wine itself. This should be a great wine, but it hasn't come together yet ... just not balanced ... still a little harsh on the palate. Enjoyable, but there are so many wonderful West coast blends that are much better wines and values than this ... bummer.
