January 1, 2021 - Last of a case and they have all been pretty consistent. Grassy, floral nose with integrated oak. Ripe yellow fruits, fully mature. Good Graves.

November 1, 2019 - This was very nice, with mature apple/grapefruit/pear stuff and whatnot. But I couldn't help thinking, is this 'spend thirty bucks then store it offsite for 13 years' nice? Not so sure.

October 22, 2017 - Consistently good, oak has melded, nice Sauvignon freshness but with depth too. One left. Excellent wine. Now coming into its own.

July 4, 2017 - What a fantastic wine. Age had just improved, mellowed, made golden the edges of the grapefruit citrus wonder of this.
I bought these bottles at wine store being sold to Binnys- I took a flyer on a cheap price. What fantastic stuff. I think i
bought 7, should have bought a case. Ever since I've been looking for Haut-Bergey Blancs and just haven't seen them. Great wine, great seven year run of drinking them.

November 29, 2015 - Not changed since I last had this 2 years ago. Youthful grapefruit melon and nice mineral character. Excellent wine.

November 27, 2014 - Thanksgiving dinner. This wine is now 9 years old.

Chilled, no decant. It starts out honeyed, oily-smooth, the aged grace dominating. Soon, the flavors shift to pears and apples as the fruit comes forward. An hour later, the Haut-Bergey reminds me of what it was like young: grapefruit citrus, happy and well mannered wine. The more time passes the more the grapefruit comes out.

It seems to have much life yet- I have only one more bottle and I'll try to keep it to 2016+ to see how it aged in the longer run. All around a beautiful happy white.

November 29, 2013 - Dark straw colored, medium bodied, aromas and somewhat subdued flavors of wet stone, nut, melon and grapefruit - opened up a bit more with moderate peach flavors with citrus and lemon on with a crisp finish.

October 18, 2013 - Lots of grapefruit showing here. Sauv character with good weight. A bit youthful still.

July 2, 2013 - Oaky nose with some interesting tropical fruit notes, such as pineapple, passion fruit, on top of mirabelle, grapefruit, citrus peel, buttery, touch of honey. Finish is quite long with mineral note at the end. Drink it up if you like your white Bordeaux more in the fruit forward style or lay it down for another 3 to 5 years to develop more of the honeyed, mineral style with oily texture.
