August 28, 2020 - Black fruit, mineral, earth and smoke flavors. Smooth texture, long finish. Delicious.

June 12, 2020 - No formal notes, but this was a lot softer than I had expected. My bottle four years ago still didn’t seem ready to go, and had very tight massive tannins. This bottle showed hardly any tannins, and the fruit profile was very soft and supple. I will have to dig into my next bottle and write a further detailed note, but I suspect that these are full blown ready to go… Perhaps even a little past prime.

June 4, 2020 - This is drinking very well. The bouquet evokes roasted chestnuts. The palate is dark and penetrating with just appropriate supporting tannins now. Pliant mouthfeel. Easy finish, no heat. This wine, which was atypically light and tight on release for the vintage, is very enjoyable now.

May 31, 2020 - Started off as a good and continued to improve. 65% Cab Sauv and 35% Merlot. Smooth, well integrated tannins. leather, tobacco, black raspberry, licorice , espresso. Delightful.

May 31, 2020 - Drinking very well now. Smokey flavors, a bit earthy, dark fruit. Probably good for another 5 years or so.
