April 7, 2024 - Decanted >1 hour. Wine continues to mature and get even better. Sorry this is my last bottle. Drinking beautifully right now.
April 2, 2024 - Color: solid core. Deep ruby. No noticeable bricking.
Nose: muted, medium red fruits with some graphite. Not jumping out of the glass. Nothing off, just expected a little more.
Palate: Sweet on the front end, medium mouth feel, slightly bitter on the back end. Finishes nicely, 20 seconds.
Overall nice wine at 11 years old.
Score: 92-93 points.
April 1, 2024 - Evergreen and forest notes with loamy fruit. A bit flat but showing good terroir
November 23, 2023 - Happy Thanksgiving! 1hr+ decant and needed a ton more. Definitely decant this for 3 hours. Wine was dark red with bourbon, alcohol, and cedar on the nose. Over the course of dinner and the next few hours it changed multiple times. It finally finished with a lovely combination of dark cherries, bramble, cedar, and rustic flavors. Medium plus depth and finish. Was awesome!
November 14, 2023 - An excellent wine with dense dark fruit, spice, well balanced with well integrated tannins and long finish. Paired with game-meat meatloaf.
September 23, 2023 - Very solid, higher acidity that the standard QC, but I think this will be better in a few more years.

March 17, 2023 - Decanted <1 hour. It has been 6+ years since we last tried this vintage. The wine has definitely matured and now has some very nice blended cab notes. Really nice with cast iron grilled filets.

November 25, 2022 - Dark red and purple color. I got mushrooms on the nose, others didn’t. High quality, refined, and deep. Black and blue fruit with integrated oak and terroir. Medium plus finish. Loved it!
