July 15, 2023 - Lovely light Pinot, forest and other savory notes, red fruits, a bit sweet on the palate but still balanced. Limpid. Poised.

October 29, 2021 - Quite a pretty and elegant pinot, almost made in water colours but not lacking in detail and finesse. Strawberries and savoury undertones, red cherries. Very clean finish, feels still reasonably fresh, fruit perhaps lacking a little depth but overall a really enjoyable pinot that did improve with some time in the decanter.

October 30, 2020 - Drinking very well but a bit pricey for the quality.

July 31, 2020 - Just delicious- not the most complex ever but incredibly pure and well-crafted Pinot Noir for barely $30.

Reminded me a lot of good mid-range Central Coast Pinot Noir such as Au Bon Climat, with fresh, lifted scents of sappy red cherry and vivid wet-stone minerals- some extra depth added with cool, minty herbal tones and even smaller kisses of both pepper and vanilla.

Palate was elegant with more of those minerally cherries and largely integrated, creamy tannins- only barely showing up on the finish. Solid medium acidity providing lift to the half sweet, half herbal fruit.

Excellent QPR, not revelatory but certainly in the upper echolon of the price range for Pinot. Feels fresh, expressive and focused, time to drink now.

January 19, 2020 - Very similar to the prior note, although I would note that this is beginning to taker on a slightly caramel hint on the finish, which probably means it is near the end of life. I would be drinking these soonish (if I had any more). Interesting contrast between US and French pinots, probably is closest to an Oregon Pinot to me, nicely balanced and very tasty, but again, at the upper end of the "value" range.

Tasted a night later and still really nice - soft sweet with lots of character, forest floor, mushroom, as well as strawberry and cherry fruit. Same caramel hints, last one for me, but I would drink up any others I had.

September 4, 2019 - Medium weight pinot, nice light strawberry and cherry fruit on both nose and palate, some nice acidity and concentration on the finish, but overall pretty light on its feet. There is sufficient concentration and complexity to justify the price, but only just. It's a very tasty beverage though and is hanging in there just fine as far as aging goes.

September 8, 2017 - Medium ruby. Nose of red fruit, gamey elements of an aged Burg as well. The palate is more new world though with plenty of sweetness. Not grand but very solid. After having tasted quite a few AUS Pinots tonight, especially Tasi, I must say that in terms of interest to Australian wine, I think these cooler site Pinots are very interesting. Barossa Shiraz and Coonawarra CabSav is still the signature of Downunder but I find these Pinots a lot more interesting than the uninspiring low-aroma-high-tannin Margret River Bdx blends.
