June 18, 2021 - Dark brick color that was consistent throughout. Strong berry and cocoa scents. Loads of fruit in the glass, a great zin.

February 25, 2016 - 2016 ZAP Trade Tasting, nose of rich fruit, touch of heat, spice, and forest floor, more of the same on the palate, delicious tasting but better in 3 years, big body with mouth filling fruit, distinctive, smooth and savory now, long, long finish. $47 Retail and worth it.

December 31, 2015 - Young, backward and reductive now, this wine requires quite a bit of aeration to approach. All the components for a good Zinfandel are there but it needs a long sleep in the cellar to come around. Drink 2020-2025.
