November 5, 2015 - A French Cabernet purposely made in a slightly off dry style. It tastes delicious. It probably does not have much more residual than your typical California red blend that does not mention anything about sweetness on the label. Rich dark color. Red fruit, especially strawberry and red currant and rose petals on the nose. Rich, semi sweet entry of red fruit on the palate that is not necessarily indicative of what we expect with a Cabernet. Nicely balanced, it is by no means cloying or flabby.A little bit of Christmas spice with the fruit on the quite pleasant and lingering finish.
