August 27, 2023 - Structure starting to break down a bit. Totally flabby on day 2. This is not a wine that will last until the CT date of 2033. Not sure it makes 2025 in a serviceable way.

April 2, 2023 - Dark ruby, almost opaque. Nose hard to place: not powerful, but floral (or botanical, not herbal). Lush, velvety violet on the palate. Soft tannins. Should probably drink soon. Very lovely now.
