January 2, 2017 - I am not certain how to describe a wine such as this Eiswein. It's one of the most integrated wines I have had in years. Only a slight bit of prickly acidity that catches in the back of the throat betrays this as Eiswein rather than an utterly majestic auction-level Auslese. I could list all the fruit and spice flavors, but it's more relevant to try to convey how the wine feels; the richness and viscosity caress the palate, leading to an incalculably long finish. I am not sure if any of this conveys the true experience of the wine, but it's how it felt at the time.

June 28, 2012 - Letting the bottles rest having received them clearly helped. Two fabulous bottles which were wotn for many. Could drink it like water!

October 16, 2011 - Nose of orgeat and lychees. Very strong acidic backbone in the mouth, wonderfully approachable already yet offers strong aging potential. Half bottle.
