August 2, 2019 - very grassy taste, think more time in the bottle would give better balance

December 23, 2018 - From the Broke subregion of the Hunter Valley. Smells pretty with plums and potpourri. A mix of plum, mulberry and spice. Not as earthy as the Shiraz around Pokolbin but fresh, medium bodied and great fruit.

January 17, 2018 - From Broke in the Hunter Valley. Which is much more scenic than the Pokolbin or Lovedale areas. Blackberry and mulberry, spice cupboard, star anise and chicken stock. A healthy medium weight with loads of fine, earthy tannin, but ultimately framed by the acid. They did a great job with this one.

July 10, 2016 - Hunter Valley 2016 Trip #2: Cherry, smoke, bright lift from some whole bunch inclusion and a light earth note. There is good grip with the balance feeling very good. Well composed and classy wine, this feels like it is right.
