November 27, 2008 - Thanksgiving Wines (Chicago, IL): Open nose has floral and lanolin aromas. Straightforward on the palate with white flowers and white fruits. Medium finish. Solid.
September 10, 2007 - Had at Bounty Hunter in Napa by the glass.
Light straw color. Nose is typical Viogner: flowers and green apple. Medium bodied, high acidity, and a tangy finish. Lacking the depth and sweetness of fruit to score higher.
September 3, 2007 - Spears Labor Day Party
August 9, 2007 - White gold color with fresh, clean nose. Floral up front and metallic at the back. Chewy and creamy with little acidity. Dry, medium-long finish. An especially nice match with grilled salmon.
February 20, 2007 - TB: Tight at first, but opened up after about an our or so of being open. Notes of lemon, pear, slightly floral, some oaky characteristics, and a hint of ginger. There appears to be some malo in here, so the acidity isn't too bright. However, it's not detracting as the fruit isn't necessarily big enough to be cloying with the lacking acidic feel. Nice, solid wine but not great.
November 29, 2006 - Med-bodied, nice peachy aromas with subtle floral notes, a little buttery on the palate, very young and crisp, finish was dry with some minerality
October 20, 2006 - Nice medium bodied viognier with subtle floral, peach and pear aromas. Well balanced with nice acidity.
June 30, 2006 - Opened night we got back from Mexico trip. Had with the torta's LC brought home for her mom and sister. Good floral notes, tight acidity, tartish fruit. Perfect with the heat of the evening and the food.
