April 19, 2024 - My go to Rioja! Cedar, plum, black currant, soft espresso, mature cherry, bramble, medium to full body, velvety long finish.

    February 14, 2024 - Eye: medium garnet
Nose: M+, Vanilia, blueberry, some dill, baking powder
Mouth: Acidity M+, Tannin M+soft, Int M+, a little alcoholic heat.
    Finish: Long with soft tannins.
An excellent wine to drink now.

November 4, 2022 - Medium body, high acidity, medium high tannins. On the nose, pronounced plum, vanilla, cedar with dried black fruit notes. On the palette still quite fruit forward, plum and black fruit. Tertiary flavors are slowly emerging but its surprising how young the wine tastes despite 12 years of bottle age. I would say keep for another 8-10 years to unlock the full potential.

    Decanted 2 to 2.5 hours

July 1, 2022 - Over dinner, no formal notes. Certainly concentrated and ripe and a little heavy at times. Quite youthful still, dark, brooding with ripe tannins and good acidity, Really long and lingering. 92-94?

June 20, 2022 - Color: deep ruby / Nose: intense, dark fruits like plum, blackberries etc., leather, minerality, black pepper, cigar box, cedar wood / Palate: high acidity, high tannins, medium+ bodied, great length, aromas are similar to the nose / Overall: I tasted the wine at the winery. It is extremly well balanced. I think it is not at the peak yet and has at least a decade ahead of it. A great wine!
