September 2, 2020 - Sur son déclin.
April 14, 2020 - Get your hands on this in the next year or two. Decanted for 30 mins and drank over 2-3 hours. Fully integrated and a palate fully captured by secondary fruit, leather, and spice. Drink up!
December 31, 2018 - Cherry hints. Drank with Joey. Liked it a lot.
November 2, 2018 - Decanted at Oak in Dallas. This medium bodied red has a fragrant black fruit and berry nose, bright red berries on the palate. Dry, well integrated, with unobtrusive tannins and a nice acid finish. Not overly complicated but a crowd pleaser. Great with my end cap ribeye, sauteed mushrooms, and brussel sprouts.
October 6, 2018 - Others characterized it well... full and very well integrated & much better day2. Good value for $22 but less complex than I had hoped.
October 25, 2017 - Twelve hour decant. Black cherry, basil, blueberry and graphite on fruit forward, yet brooding nose. Bright acidity on full palate. Rounded tannins on medium finish.
May 12, 2017 - Light purple color. Aromas of tart blackberry and cassis, backed up with campfire smoke, anise, loamy earth and black tea. Tart acidity frames the palate for this medium-bodied but sturdy wine, and the balance is impressive. Dark blackberry and tart black cherry fruit play well with notes of anise, charcoal, pencil shavings and black tea. A serious wine for the money that deserves a good decant or a few years in the cellar. Mostly Touriga Franca, with Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz.
December 15, 2016 - A bit closed at first but eventually opened up. A bit of dark berries and a touch of an almost Merlot quality to it.
July 26, 2016 - At the Brackenbury Wine Rooms. A bit plummy
