  October 16, 2023 - In open bottle for 3 days- this takes a while. Ruby and garnett color. Somewhat musty nose of cinnamon & plum. Has cherry and spice flavors with a long finish. If you have one drink soon.

  July 3, 2021 - Cherry & currant color. Some heat on the nose with licorice, chocolate covered cherries, & cedar. Slick mouthfeel, cherry and raspberry flavors. Could go another 10 years+.

  November 8, 2020 - Still young. Did not open up until the second day. Needs 5 years to reach peak without decanting. Awesome full body cab with integrated fruit and oak. Great bouquet when opened up. Long and robust finish.

  September 25, 2019 - A stunner at the price, age, and my poor storage effort over the past few years. Tight with chocolate and chalk upon opening, but smoothed to lovely plum and stewed black fruit over several hours. Drink and decant or hold for a couple more years. Some nice herbal notes blew off early and were worth a sip out of the bottle, but the balance after 2 hours in the decanter was the real treat.
