September 6, 2019 - Odd aftertaste. Lots of tannins even after a long decant.

July 7, 2019 - Our last — and probably the best — bottle of the 2013. With K and E over a patio dinner. Beautifully rounded, with purple red in the glass and a cassis-filled bouquet that offered flecks of graphite, creosote and black olives. Cuts a wide swath on the palate — chock full of blackberries, blueberries, black plum and a hint of menthol at the back — although K felt I had served it too cold (about five degrees above cellar temp). Beautifully done, this is probably close to peak before that luscious fruit begins to fade. Worth Seeking Out.

May 9, 2019 - One of my favorite reasonably priced Napa cabs. This one drinking great now- balanced with fruit and tannins still showing but better drink up. Not sure this one will get any better than now. Great!

April 23, 2019 - Loads of dark fruit, violets, and licorice, and graham cracker right out of the bottle. Dark cherry, chocolate, and espresso. Full and dense but with a nice lifting complement of acid. A welcome 14.8 abv (my first experience was the very hot ‘16 Honig at 15.2). Still high in my book but with the concentration of flavor and fragrance it isn’t noticed. Paid 40 usd

April 17, 2019 - This has improved since my last bottle in Feb 2018. Definitely agree with Jonah that time has helped this bottle bring some more fruit forward notes and settled down on the tannins / alcohol front. Unfortunately my last bottle so won't see the progression from here, but I think this still has a nice 3-5 year window.
