December 24, 2023 - Not very flavorful. A very neutral wine.

    October 6, 2023 - Nose: Dark fruit
Taste: light tannins, kind of flat and flabby if there is such a thing. Just how it tasted.

December 14, 2022 - Did not care for this. Thick syrupy tasting. Almost Malbec like.

June 21, 2022 - Full bodied, with integrated notes of dark cherries, black raspberries, cedar, fresh herbs, and forest floor. It's a touch candied, with a touch of textural richness, and shows a ripe, tannic structure supported by lovely, bottle age complexity. Drinking beautifully.

April 9, 2022 - nice smooth nose, taste follows suit. Very well balanced, not too sharp or acidic, but tannins and acids are there. Finish is a touch short but adequate. Not quite monster status but close.

November 25, 2021 - Enjoyed tonight with turkey. Nice nose, resolved tannins, and dark purple color. Black fruit is a muted backdrop to the alcohol, but still enjoyable. Smooth, but linear and somewhat lacking in finish. This is good though. Drink now, as the alcohol will continue to creep.

March 20, 2021 - If you thought cedar was just for closets, think again! Honig perfected cedar in this cab!
    Vibrant, deep and dark color.
Notes of mocha accentuate this fairly big cab.
A slight note of raspberry on the finish

December 10, 2020 - Decanted 2-1/2 hours, a little fine sediment. No notes taken but remember this as rich and powerful with a long finish. A fine Napa cab at a good price point.

September 15, 2020 - Poured a sample straight from the bottle and you could tell it's a big brooding California Cabernet. Decanted it for over three hours for our Monday Night Wine Tasting (Zoom edition) and many in the group thought it was a powerful newer Petite Sirah. Tasting good now but should be even better in a few more years. Have one left...
