April 7, 2020 - Blackberries, plums with a hint of tobacco, spices and leather on the nose. Tannins slightly resolved but still grippy and well balanced by acidity and alcohol. Drinking very well now and will be enjoyable over the 5 years.

March 25, 2020 - Improved a lot by 2 hours after decant. Very good, especially with cheese, but still a little rough and not fully integrated/balanced.

January 5, 2020 - Decent Pomerol, ruby red, nose is of black cherries, blackberries, currants, earth, licorice, leather.. Palate is pretty much the same, slightly unbalanced with relation to alcohol peaking out. Tannins are mostly integrated with no hard edges. Finish is medium

October 8, 2019 - Deep ruby color. Bright, complex nose of dark berries, pungent spice, and tobacco leaf. Full bodied on the palate with great presence and length.

August 25, 2019 - Opened a bottle at the end of the night. No real air time but it did not need it. Just reinforced how good the 2005 vintage is. Perfect nose of deep red fruits and earth. Subtitle in the mouth without being flabby. Great drink with steak. Tonight the best bottle of this I’ve had.
