March 26, 2024 - Decanted 30 minutes, drank half the bottle over 2 hours. Once again, I found this fine, just rather boring. Easy-drinking, reminds me of a really good chianti, not a 14 year old reserve Brunello. At least the wife loved it for some reason. I have 3 more bottles to assess over the coming years.

October 26, 2023 - A deep body of Sangiovese, with lots of melted wood and indian spices. I picked up a bit of what seems to be exaggerated petrol, again most likely from the wood treatment. I remember Janice Robinson's remarks about freshness on old wines and would always scratch my head. I totally understand what she was referring to. This really lacks freshness for my taste. Not the best QPR for an aged Brunello here. Drink sooner than later.
