September 10, 2021 - From Magnum. Beautiful nose here with elegant citrus notes, biscuit, flowers. Lovely, everything is very subtle, esp the autolysis element. The palate is light but not hollow or sour for a BdB. Reminded me of the Dom Perignon reductive style. 94-95

We've had some disappointing experiences with younger bottles of Mineral in the past, we found them plain, simple and really not very interesting, furthermore the acidity was inordinately high; but as I suspected their wines age wonderfully and with some time after disgorgement we can really start to enjoy them; for us this is a constant in almost every producer and cuvée in the 'Côte des Blancs': they need time to become expressive. An elegant but persistent note of chalk dominates the wine (the same aroma that in younger vintages were quite intrusive), wet stones, some oysters and a hint of smoke; ripe lemons, peaches and apricots; white flowers, elderflower and cherry blossom; vanilla and other spices such as white pepper; almonds, walnuts and hazelnuts, cream, some caramel and home-baked cake, and a hint of fresh coffee.
Creamy and mineral texture, moderately high acidity that assures a long life ahead. This wine was such surprise; we didn't know if Agrapart style was for us due to our previous experiences, but now I can affirm that we definitely enjoy it (much better with some years of bottle age, of course).
    92pt

June 9, 2020 - Surprisingly well structured and would not have guessed BDB at all. fresh and full of vibrant minerals but more aging might bring out more complexity.

December 31, 2019 - Brief note. Perfect wine to ring in the new year as this was one of my favorite champagnes in 2019. impeccably balanced and suave. great stuff and totally rang my bell.
