March 24, 2023 - Bottle decant for 2 hours, very reserved at the beginning, then there was noticeable revolution in the glass. Aroma of flower. High flavor intensity. Long finish. 92 is a tough year, but after 30 years in the bottle, I guess it’s ready! Better than 90 from the same flight.

May 30, 2019 - Jasper Rousseau Chambertin. Antiseptically clean. Lovely, floral aromatics that are exuberant. Lots of fruit but shorter than great vintages. Better than 1998, 2000 and 2001.

September 28, 2018 - Served blind. This is a clean and precise beauty that is in a peak state for current enjoyment. It has nuance and depth, no rough edges, and there is an element of sauvage that makes the wine even more interesting. A classic Burgundy in every sense.

March 3, 2018 - La Paulée de San Francisco - Gala Dinner (The Fairmont - San Francisco CA): Late night, small glass, brief note. From magnum, so no surprise this was fresher vs a bottle from last year. Charming black fruit, good weight, still slightly backward. Probably some upside, as long as the fruit stays exciting.

March 3, 2018 - La Paulée de SF Gala Dinner (Fairmont Hotel, SF CA): From magnum. Impressively young and quite primary. Rich black cherry and meaty spice nose. Palate is similarly young and dense.

February 16, 2018 - Moderate about of sous bois along with black tea. A nice amount of fruit on the palate. Not as clean as the 90 but an excellent wine on its own.

October 20, 2017 - Perfect last bottle (except label) that was kept in my cellar since release.top fill.
Colour with some maturity, good density and luminosity. Clean mature komplex pinot nose. Evolved over 3 hours with notes of incense, celery, coffee and some mint. Nice length.
Note: this wine had some overripe notes when young(i.e.late 90'), those completely vanished, today it was a complete joy to drink.
One of the best bottles of my life.
    Thats why grand cru.
    Should hold some more years.
