January 20, 2023 - So sad. My last bottle of 2012 for a label and winemaker I dearly admire. Wish Amy had been able to keep going with Meander! This bottle was really singing after about 4 hours (double decanted and then slow ox). Ended up getting velvety with dark fruit and really nice secondary flavors. Smooth but lively finish. Beautiful.

November 26, 2020 - Probably could have scored higher if it had been decanted but opened on a lark and finished too fast by all. All the good stuff there in classic Meander style just a bit tight on PnP. Aging nicely!

May 15, 2020 - Big fan of Meander. It easy to enjoy a nicely balanced wine that has developed and integrated. '12 and '13 are a toss up for the better year, but you won't be disappointed with either. Subtle fruit with a hint of other flavors depending on what else you are enjoying. Drinking well now, but I would agree this will cellar nicely 5+ years if not longer. I would give it a little air. Enjoy.

June 24, 2017 - Best bottle of wine for less than $50 that I have drank in a couple of years. Rich black fruits medium to full bodied. Decant for an hour or two. Should drink well for 5 years, if you can keep from drinking it.

April 26, 2017 - Agree entirely with BOBPSI comments on this wine. Decanting does this wine good as the secondary characteristics of graphite, mineral and tobacco develop - best on second day. Probably the best Meander I've tasted with age after release. Really well done Amy!
