February 7, 2022 - A little muted on night one but gains focus on night two. Very good complexity and minerality with a beautiful line of acidity through the finish. Surprising intensity. Very good.
October 6, 2021 - This is fine. Elegant floral aromas and mineral notes. Pear. Something slightly licorice also. Still quite fresh. Not too weighty in the mouth, which many dry Chenins to my taste can be. Among several Chenins tasted on the same evening this was my favorite for its grace and freshness. No hurry to drink this.
August 9, 2021 - A great Loire Valley Chenin Blanc. Straw yellow. Minerals dominate with hints of crisp pear. Balanced acidity, long rich finish. Drinking well now-should last at least 3-5 more years. Wish I had more...
July 12, 2021 - Not sure about this one - perhaps not a stellar bottle. Pear and white flowers on the nose, then a crisp mouthful which goes from apples and pears, through to slight touches of honey, then back to the pears. I liked the clear, pure precision of the tastes, but the problem is the price: at around 50€, I cannot see the difference between this and countless other wines costing 20-25€. Maybe I just need to wait a bit longer.
August 7, 2019 - Nez pas démonstratif mais très élégant, délicat sur des notes fraîches de poire et de pêche blanche complétées par une pointe florale.
Bouche élancée avec une matière fuselée. C'est tout en longueur avec une présence qui joue la subtilité.
Grande persistance clairement dans un registre minéral/salin avec une intensité incroyable.
Très très joli, mais il faut un peu de temps pour "rentrer dedans".
November 27, 2018 - Звонкий и очень свежий. С карамельно-леденцовой темой, цветами, печеньем. Отдалённо орехи. Во вкусе прибавляются цитрусовые и тропики. Невероятно богатый и долгий. В стиле топовой Бургундии.

July 7, 2016 - Bob's B-Day (Ripple - Washington, DC): Wow, this is so pretty, elegant, put-together and tasty. Rich orchard fruit and crusty, salty minerals on the nose. Bright and tart with lip-smacking acidity (a young wine for sure) but also oily and layered. Lemon, apples and pears mix with honey, white tea and all sorts of complex mineral notes. Gorgeous stuff, but will be much better in the years to come.
June 4, 2016 - Wonderful expression of Loire Chenin, with granny smith apples, peaches, pear and crushed stones. Lip pursing acidity and crazy length. Layered and ever evolving. This is fabulous and shows great aging potential. I revisited this bottles over three days and it just kept getting better.
