    August 30, 2018 - Good QPR
    Medium+ acidity
Slightly brambly, overly ripe dark fruit with a bit of tart cherry.
    A little creamy
    A little astringent
Tannins are approachable, but still a bit rustic.

Overall enjoyable. 90-91. Imagine this score can improve further, would check in, in a year to see how fruit evolved (more integrated or still a little all over the place?) and softer tannins.

September 8, 2016 - Performances from the Summer of 2016: This is a new producer for me but I’ve liked everything in their lineup, with a preference for the syrahs over the pinots. The wine is dense and chewy, with briars and brambles competing with blackberry compote and blueberry pie. Can be a bit fatiguing, but overall good quality here.

August 14, 2016 - Cloudy dark ruby. Earth, blackcurrants, violets on the expressive nose. Broad swathe of fruit on the palate with an under-layer of smooth tannins, light on acid, bitter mocha notes at the back, medium finish. Serious and deep, with a bright glint. 50 + 17 + 16 + 8.

June 7, 2016 - perfumy and elegant blend. Mourvedre lifts the aromatics and combines beautifully with the syrah
