  May 13, 2017 - I'm feeling the Grenache for sure, with a Syrah backstop. Subtle spice, licorice, light menthol, earth. The wine was reportedly stored in neutral barrels but I certainly pick up vanilla. A good everyday red, and just a little better than everyday. Screw top, 13.5% alcohol.

  November 23, 2016 - Unscrewed and poured. Black pepper berry aroma. Black fruit, leather flavor. Licorice in the finish. Very good basic GSM blend, excellent value.

  October 21, 2016 - Red and spicy, punch-like Grenach fruit, some vanilla, medium-plus acidity. Good length. Not overly interesting but a decent, everyday screw-top blend. Drink now.

  March 31, 2016 - Decent spin on a domestic interpretation of CDR. Not sure why I bought this wine recently??? I'm slowly whittling down on the real thing which I have too much of. I'm tired of Grenache, even in a blend but this is solid enough. Paid $16, I'd probably buy the real thing instead which usually sells for $13 or less. Alc listed at 13.5% but showing some heat.
