September 12, 2019 - Nice bold fruit on the nose, with a hint of tobacco. Fruitier than I might expect from a 24 year old Bordeaux. Beautiful dark purple in the glass, very smooth on the palate. More new world than I might have expected, but very enjoyable. Glad to have 5 more I would decant the next bottle, since this still drinks young.

May 27, 2019 - Needs long decant.. Still very tannic...Nose is dark fruits, cherry, currants, cassis, pencil lead, vanilla, licorice... Palate is dark fruits, licorice, truffles, tannins are very high leading to dry, austere finish.. Probably has 92 score potential but needs at least 3-5 years more in a the bottle or very long decant..

March 7, 2019 - A little tight and very tannic. Could spend more time in the bottle. I will wait to drink my others bottles.

January 26, 2019 - Decanted in glass and consumed over three hours. In hindsight, I would have given this a full decant for about three hours before consuming as there is plenty of young stuffing and some alcohol (which does blow off) still in there after fourteen years. Good char cries for a grilled piece of meat. Tannins resolving and growing finer but there is definitely a firm structure here which is coated with black fruit which balance things a bit. Dark and brooding still. Give it time in a decanter or, better yet, in the cellar for another 3-5 years.

December 25, 2018 - À maturité? bon bordeau mais encore un peu austère a mon goût. Le fruit n'est pas trop exubérant mais l'on y retrouve des pointes de fruits noirs. Je vais attendre encore un an pour la prochaine bouteille.
