October 24, 2019 - Wow! This '05 is packed with a heavy nose of dark fruits, promising a rich wine from this classic year in St. Emilion. And the taste doesn't fail the tease of the aromatics. Rich and bold. No hint of its age. A delicious and real wine from an outstanding place on earth. Enjoy!

September 12, 2019 - Nice bold fruit on the nose, with a hint of tobacco. Fruitier than I might expect from a 24 year old Bordeaux. Beautiful dark purple in the glass, very smooth on the palate. More new world than I might have expected, but very enjoyable. Glad to have 5 more I would decant the next bottle, since this still drinks young.

May 27, 2019 - Needs long decant.. Still very tannic...Nose is dark fruits, cherry, currants, cassis, pencil lead, vanilla, licorice... Palate is dark fruits, licorice, truffles, tannins are very high leading to dry, austere finish.. Probably has 92 score potential but needs at least 3-5 years more in a the bottle or very long decant..

March 7, 2019 - A little tight and very tannic. Could spend more time in the bottle. I will wait to drink my others bottles.
