    February 10, 2023 - PnP but better with some air, and as there is some slight sediment, a quick decant may be best. The color was a deep dark purple. There was dark fruit and some earth on the nose. These dark fruits and earth follow on to the medium bodied palate along with spice and a touch of minerality. The acidity is nicely balancing, and any tannins are completely integrated.
    This is a deeper, darker and more serious Barbera than many others and at 10+ years it is still very enjoyable - with several years ahead.

    July 28, 2020 - Aldo:s Barberas is just amazing. This was perfect with a soft and elegant feeling and at the same time a lot of dark fruit and a little nice touch of acidity. Just drink and enjoy!

    May 8, 2020 - This is a dark, fairly dense and chewy Barbera that was drinking nicely about an hour after opening.

    December 6, 2018 - Just simply delicious. Very drinkable after 20-30 mins air time, improved slightly over couple hours, last glass second evening wasn't materially changed. Wonderful balance, med body wine with still strong fruit.

    October 28, 2018 - Super beau vin fruité avec un petit côté fumé. Bel équilibre avec une belle longueur. Vin frais qui se boit très bien.

    April 30, 2017 - Vraiment excellent. Superbe! Un alliage d'une beau fruits, beaucoup de fruits rouges mûrs. Milieu de bouche sur la réglisse et des épices douces (très léger) et un boisé subtil. Finale légèremement acidulé, une belle longueur. Les tannins sont bien fondus, aucunement agressant qui complète bien le vin.
    Équilibre d'ensemble 10/10, complexe de long, belles saveurs de fruit rouges un peu compoté et de réglisse avec une grande buvabilité.
