  October 3, 2020 - This wine at this stage needs a solid 2hr decant before it starts showing some of the complexities of Cotton. A medium strength wine with good structure. I will wait a few years b/f opening the next.

If you have one, go pull the cork right now and I'll wait while you're lost at first sniff. There is a depth and complexity on the nose that was missing the last time I opened a bottle of this. This is seriously worth every ounce of honor that Grand Cru stands for...just on the nose. Scents of ripe raspberry, faded oak, forest floor, and orange zest linger on the nose. The palate offers both width and depth as it shifts from red fruits that highlight the acidity and transition through notes of clove, orange rind, and faded hints of oak. Bravo...I wish this wasn't my last bottle. Outstanding!!

Light body with med- acidity, with notes of cherry & wild strawberry on the palate. While I will admit that I like how this smells to some point...it still needs time and speaks of its sense of place; as it's clearly from Burgundy.
