June 12, 2022 - We enjoyed this quite a bit...think Kosta Browne after the big bombers of the early-to-mid 90s, but before the shift to IPOB style...just a friendly, easy, delicious not-quite-full-bodied wine. I liked it a lot...received as a gift, might seek out some more!
August 12, 2019 - Ripe dark fruit, earthy and soft. A bit dense and roasted compared to a burgundy, but enjoyable and reasonably priced.
June 6, 2019 - See prior notes - and enjoy this North Coast gem
January 3, 2019 - See prior notes - drinking great right now
November 27, 2016 - Paired well with Chicken Pot Pie. Tons of fruit - raspberry and cherry at the forefront- and finished with loamy earthiness. Decanted about 60 minutes prior to enjoying
October 29, 2015 - Medium nose shows black cherry, raspberry, cola, baking spice, dark flowers like violets. Palate pretty extracted for Pinot, molasses, juicy blackberry, dark red cherry, black cherry, vanilla, medium tannins, high alcohol lends power to finish. This is decidedly in the deep, dark CA style, not an IPOB wine.
