March 30, 2024 - PnP
This drank amazingly last night.
Dark cherry, bramble, tobacco pipe, and as @wine_enjoyer pointed out, a little balsamic note that gives it an Italian character.
Tannins were smoothed out, acids were still very intact with a nice structure to it. This is an excellent bottle, that was guessed as bordeaux. Glad I still have another, really enjoyed this last night.

April 12, 2023 - Perfectly ripe fruit, a touch of alcohol but doesn't effect the experience, a bright and forward acidity delivering fheshness, juicy aftertaste, this is a good vintage for Monteti.

August 1, 2022 - Not the most typical showing for Monteti with the focus on red fruits. Considering the vintage I expected something in the line of their stellar 2006 but it won't reach that level. I guess we will have to wait for their 2015 to enter its drinking window to see the next star from this winery. This juicy wines is well balanced with young and ripe tannins giving a small bitter touch. The acidity is intense, otherwise blindly you could have placed this in Bordeaux. The spices and smoke were present, but not at the intensity you expect from Monteti. It is a very good wine but I feel 92 will be the max score.
