November 3, 2018 - Fruit starting to fade a bit so it is definitely time to drink up any remaining holdings - likely just a bit past prime by now. Having said that still quite a good bottle and enjoyable wine - very well balanced and much leaner, more reductive in style then many of the big name CA chards. Clear pale yellow and nose more fruity then body / palate with an intense nose of peach and apple spice. Good mouth feel, slightly acidic, leaner then expected with a hint of oak and butter but primary flavors included peach, apple and papaya - warmer sweeter fruit. Reasonably long aftertaste. Would definitely have recommended this up to even 1-2 years ago but cannot really any longer recommend at this point since as noted above I believe it to now be a bit past prime.

June 24, 2017 - Excellent white, full bodied with all the elements of a Napa Chardonnay, but none in excess. Apple and melon balanced with oak and butter. Complex but still easy drinking. Head to buy more tomorrow

October 30, 2016 - A really good and leaner, more elegant and newer CA-style chardonnay from a very good producer - oak and butter present but controlled and well integrated. A good QPR wine. Pale yellow, smooth, well integrated and medium - full bodied. Warm almost floral nose of golden apples, hint of vanilla and mulling spice with flavor profile of balanced oak, butter, apples, citrus and a hint of honey. Definitely recommend this wine.

May 30, 2016 - Light yellow, butter, oak, apples and in a lean and elegant style. Needed to be at cellar temperature to show its best.

October 21, 2015 - 20 months 100% new American oak, 50% malo. Nose shows oak notes, vanilla, baking spice, lemon meregune, dandelions, red apple. Palate is toasty, butternut squash, candied lemon, apple sauce, honeysuckle, clearly CA style. Alcohol medium plus but it adds to the finish, complexity medium plus, finish med plus or better. I wanted to say this was over the top with the oak and nose, but it's not, it's quite well done, definitive New CA style, but it's tasty.

    500 cases made.
